JUST ANOTHER POST MY FRIENDS TO LET YOU KNOW ONCE MORE.I STARTED OUT ON A LOVELY DAY DOING MUCH MUCH MORE.
BY GOING OUT WITH MY DAUGHTER AGAIN WE HAD A LOVEY TIME.
THEN AT 4PM IT WAS TIME FOR MOTHERHEN TO COME BACK HERE ONLINE.
I WAS ON FIVE MINUTES AND LET ME TELL YOU I COULD HAVE GONE INSANE.
AOL JUST KICKED ME OFF AND I COULDN'T SIGN IN AGAIN.
I KNOW WEV'E ALL EXPERIANCED PROBLEMS IN THE PAST .
WHEN AOL HAVE MADE THERE CHANGES AND SOME THINGS THEY GET CAST.
BUT I DON'T LIKE IT TO BE MOTHERHEN AND SO I HAD TO SAY.
IF I DON'T COMMENT IN YOUR BLOGS WHEN YOU POST I WON'T BE ABOUT THAT DAY.
AS I AM SICK OF AOL AND ALL THE HASSLE AS SUCH AND ALL THE TROUBLES THEY BRING .
SENDING BOXES UP TELLING MOTHERHEN ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM PLEASE RING.
NO FEAR NOT EVERYDAY AT MY EXPENCE I JUST WILL NOT DO THAT.
I HAD ENOUGH OF THAT ONLY YESTERDAY AND WHAT GOOD HAS DONE MY CHAT.
WHEN STILL TODAY I HAVE HAD NO LUCK AND ALL THIS TROUBLE HAS BEEN.
SINCE THEY MOVED US OVER TO BLOGGER AND I AM NOT VERY KEEN.
I AGREE WITH JAN SERENDIPITY THERE IS SUCH A LOT OF WORK.
TO DO A PSOTING IN BLOGGER AND MY COMMENTS THEY DO SHIRK.
I HAVE TAKEN TIME TO POP IN MY BLOG ALL YOUR BLOGGER NAMES.
THEN TODAY WHEN I LOOKED THIS IS TWICE ALREADY THEY HAVE ALL DISSAPEARED AGAIN.
FLIP ME IT'S WORK FOR NOTHING AND IV'E DONE THIS POST THREE TIMES.
IT STILL WOULDN'T SAVE SO I AM HOPING IT DOES IT FOR ME THIS TIME .
DO YOU MAKE ANY WONDER MOTHERHEN IS OUT OF PACIENCE WITH THIS.
SO TONIGHT IV'E DECIDED TO CALL IT A DAY AND I'M NOW GOING ON THE P---.
I'LL PROBABLY GET BLOCKED AGAIN FOR THIS AND PUTTING THAT IN MY POST.
WELL I DON'T GIVE A HOOT RIGHT NOW COS I THINK J/LAND WAS THE MOST.
OH! HOW I WISH I WAS BACK THERE ALONG WITH YOU ALL RIGHT NOW.
I'LL TRY GET ROUND THE BOARD TO COMMENT BUT THATS A PAIN TOO SOMEHOW.
BECAUSE MY MAIL BOX IS SO EMPTY AND IT'S USUALLY FULL AT THIS TIME .
SO MOTHERHEN IS TIRED AND WORN OUT SO I'LL FINISH " MY SIMPLE RHYME "

I feel exactly the same way my friend. Blogger is not J-Land and never will be. Because of the way it works and the time to post comments I do not think it will ever be a community, not like J-Land. If the system worked on similar lines it would be different but it is not. My mail box is always empty now except for spam. I used to love logging on in the mornings and seeing all the comment alerts and posting alerts. It always lifted my spirits. This seems such a cold place. We cannot interact with each other as we did and yes, I miss all the comments I used to get, they used to make me feel good. Great poem and I agree with everything.

Kath, honestly I do miss JLand. It didn't have all the bells and whistles that are here but I still feel disconnected from everyone. I wish we could get alerts. I used my dashboard for entry alerts but still loved getting comment alerts.
I have no clue why those url's cause so many problems. You aren't the ony one. Most of the URL's on my sidebar have been changed. I just don't have time to mess with them all so I go into the dashboard and look. Thanks for the e-mail. If you want to send an e-mail alert to me, I wouldn't mind a bit. Love xx

I looked everywhere for you this morning. So glad you are back with us. I've had a lot of problems with AOL this week. It keeps closing down on me. Then I have to start all over again. I miss all the alerts I used to get. Now I have to use my dashboard to see when people have made a new post. Although some Blogs I have on feedbitz.and that sends an e-mail telling me a post has been added.

got your link my friend and it worked fine. I actually like it here. You can get comment alerts by going into settings comments and putting the email you want comments to go to. I see Jeannette isn't getting them so share the news,k? Things will pick up as soon as everyone gets on a roll

Sorry you are having all those problems, at the top of my blog you will see a little box asking for your email address if you enter it, you will get an email when I do an entry and you will also be able to download one of your own so you can get emails when people who have registered with you post.,Love Joan.
i am lost here! not getting my usual comments (see my post earlier today).
many people i clicked on their followers tga, then they went & changed their urls, grrr. so i'm not getting their postings on my reader or dashboard.
it's all so frustrating.
blogger was meant for people that "seriously" blog, not a community like j-land was. :'(

Oh Kath, I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time. Truly, despite Jeannette's commentm blogspot is not an unfriendly place, nor is it cold. There are some lovely people on here who have become my friends and they can becoe yours too.
You're not doing bad for comments - 14 is more than I usually get!
I decided not to put any restrictions like comment moderation or those funny letter things because I think it takes away the spontanaity of comments. You can always put them in later if you want to.
I've been putting everyone's URLs in my Favourites so I can easily call them up. I suppose there will be a better way than that but I don't know what it is and it works for me just now!

Hiya Kath, just wish things were back to how they were with Jland but we know that may never happen, but I think we have to hang in there as who knows they just may change it......possibly not but we can live in hope. Aaaargh have lost email how to transfer aol blogs!!!
