BACK AGAIN AND UPDATE.

MY POOTERS HAD IT'S FACELIFT AND SURGERY AND EVERYTHING WENT WELL.

I'M HOPING NOW IT LASTS A WHILE BUT WE JUST CANNOT TELL.

SO WHILE HE WAS SO SICK I WENT A FEW RIDES OUT EACH DAY.

AND FOUND A LOVELY GARDEN CENTRE ONE DAY ON THE WAY.

WALKING THROUGH THE DOORS THREE GUYS THEY WELCOMED ME INSIDE.

GOOD MORNING GOLDILOCKS THEY SEEMED TO SAY SAT THERE WITH PRIDE.

ME I THOUGHT WELL ISN'T THAT STRANGE THESE THREE SAT AT THE DOOR.

HOW DID THEY KNOW I MIGHT CALL IN FOR BARE (BEAR) NECESSITIES AND MORE.HE-HE .

I CHOSE A POT OF HYACINTH TO MAKE MY KITCHEN SMELL.

OF PERFUME WHEN THEY FLOWER WHITE ONES DOING WELL.

PLACED UPON MY WINDOW SILL THEY LIKE THE SUN AND LIGHT.

HOW I'LL ENJOY THEM WHEN I'M WASHING UP ONCOMING SPRING NIGHTS.

I BOUGHT ANOTHER HEBE AS THEY ARE EASY GROW.

PLACED IT IN A POT FOR NOW TILL I FIND WHERE IT WILL GO.

IN THE EARTH BUT JUST NOW FRIENDS IT IS A LITTLE COOL.

I'M STILL GETTING EARLY GROUND FROSTS AND THIS OLD MOTHERHENS NO FOOL.

PEOPLE PLANT TOO EARLY THEN LOSE THEM ALL PLANTS YOU SEE.

WELL YEARS AGO I LEARNED THIS LESSON SO THE TIMES NOT NOW FOR ME.

AS FOR SUMMER BEDDING PLANTS MY CHOISE IS EARLY JUNE.

TO PLANT THESE OUT ANY OTHER TIME FOR ME IS FAR TOO SOON.

THEY LAST ME WELL THEN INTO AUTUMN BLOOM TO HEARTS CONTENT.

SO MONEY THEN NOT WASTED ALL OF IT WELL SPENT.

I JOURNEYED ON AND SPOTTED THIS ROAD SIGN MADE ME LAUGH.

THE DAY HAD BEEN A LONG ONE AND I FELT A TIRED KATH Zzzzzzz

THE "LAND OF NOD" HOW STRANGE WAS THAT SO I TOOK THIS PIC FOR YOU.

TURNED LEFT AND DROVE ON DOWN THERE TO SEE WHAT I COULD VEIW.

THE NAME WAS SO APPROPRIATE PEACEFUL NOT A SOUND.

NO HOUSES ONLY FIELDS AND FARMLAND NOTHING MUCH AROUND.

RETURNING HOME I SNAPPED FOR YOU SCAMMONDEN DAM A LOVELY PLACE .

I LIVE NOT FAR FROM HERE FOLKS THERES A CAR TRACK FOR TO RACE.

BIRDWATCHES GO HERE TOO BUT IT'S TOO STEEP FOR ME.

IT SUPPLIES OUR YORKSHIRE WATER BOARD PAY A VISIT AND YOU'LL SEE.

PICNIC AREAS SCENIC VEIWS BOAT TRIPS WHEN ITS HOT.

JUST ANOTHER PLACE TO VISIT A YORKSHIRE BEAUTY SPOT.

WE'VE LOTS OF THEM AROUND ME HISTORICAL PLACES TOO.

I'M HOPING WHEN THE WEATHER BRIGHTENS TO SHOW YOU ALL A FEW.

WELL THATS ALL NOW FOLKS FOR TODAY I HOPE YOU ARE ALL FINE .

MY DAUGHTER HAS THE DAY OFF SO IT'S MOTHERHENS SHOPPING TIME.

IF I BAG A BARGAIN I'LL SHOW YOU THEM NEXT TIME. HE-HE

I HOPE YOU ARE ALL WELL AND I'LL BE COMMENTING EVENING TIME.

A LOT OF YOU TO CATCH UP ON FROM KATH AND "MY SIMPLE RHYMES".

TAKE CARE GOD BLESS XX

So happy to see a posting from you this morning Kath! Glad the "facelift and surgery" went well! tee hee! It is so tempting to want to get going in the gardens with the milder days and sun showing it's pretty face. But there is an old saying that goes "Don't cast a clout, til May is out." and I think it's wise advice to follow!

It is grand to see you back again and it looks like that computer is working just fine. I love the pictures. We don't plant here til the end of May or 1st of June either. Frosts do still occur til then. Enjoy the day with your daughter! I know when I get the chance I love to go shopping with my daughter too. 'On Ya'-ma

Great to hear from you again,Kath.
You're quite right about the bedding plants, I've seen the poor little shivery things for sale in April. May is quite soon enough.

Nice to 'see you' Kath. we have so many Garden Centres within a short Drive, and as most people can't visit without buying something.most of my plants are doing well,I left a Basket up right through the winter (Pansies), and it has stayed pretty well.We travel on the M62 about once a month to see my Friend Tracey (the one who had Breast Cancer) never knew the name while passing Scammonden Dam, so learnt something new today.

I grew three containers with tomato plants last year. This year I will put the container part way in the yard soil to keep the water from draining right through. Monday and Tuesday could get below freezing. I enjoyed the photos. Thanks for visiting me. I am glad you are doing well. mark/salty

Hi Kath, you always makes me smile. Those bears are the cutest. LOL...I want all three of them. I can't wait to see pictures of your plants. You do have a green thumb. I never intended to be away as long as I was. I seemed to get one sickness after another since the end of Jan. It's been an awful winter. I'm hoping that spring is sprung soon here. Have fun shopping...love xx Chris
