"THE FLOWER RHYME "

I THOUGHT I'D DO A FLOWER RHYME TODAY FOLKS FOR A CHANGE.

SHOW YOU SOME IV'E PLANTED OVER THE YEARS IN A WIDE RANGE.

THERES NOT MUCH HAPPENING IN MY LIFE RIGHT NOW SO I DO FIND

LIKE MANY WHAT TO WRITE ABOUT EACH POST IS HARD AT TIMES

SO HERE WE GO WITH RED GERANIUMS THIS COLOUR YES THEY SEEM.

TO OUTLAST ALL THE OTHER COLOURS AND SOME OF MINE HAVE BEEN.

STILL IN FLOWER NEAR CHRISTMASTIME IN MY GARDEN TRUE.

SO HERE IV'E PLACED A PICTURE OF A RED ONE TO SHOW YOU.

YELLOW COMES THE NEXT FLOWER ANTIRRHINUM IS IT'S NAME.

THEY STAND SO VERY STRONG AND UPRIGHT ALL COLOURS JUST THE SAME.

PINKS AND WINES AND WHITES AND ORANGE TO NAME BUT JUST A FEW .

SUPPOSE NEXT YEAR A NEW STRAIN WHO KNOWS IT MIGHT BE BLUE.

WELL I'M DOING THE COLOURS OF THE RAINBOW SO PINK I THINK COMES NEXT.

IMPATIENTS SLANG NAME BUSY LIZZY IF ANY OF YOU ARE VEXED.

ONCE AGAIN LOTS OF COLOURS YOU CAN GET THEM IN.

LOVING PLENTY OF WATER NOT LIKE SOME A GIN HE-HE.

NEXT COMES GREEN AS YOU WELL KNOW AND HERES SOME IN A BUNCH.

CHRYSANTHEMUMS ON THE TABLE LOOK LOVELY WHEN HAVING LUNCH.

THESE ONES LAST FOR AGES MAKE GOOD CUT FLOWERS FOR.

POPPING IN BOUQUETS ETC WITH A WHOLE LOT MORE.

PURPLE IS MY NEXT COLOUR MY FAVOURITE I MUST SAY.

LOTS OF FLOWERS IN THIS COLOUR A CHOISE FOR EVERY DAY.

HERES A PICTURE OF ONE THEY LOOK BEAUTIFUL IN A POT.

"PANSIES FOR THOUGHTS" AS THE SAYING GOES WELL LOVELY IN ANY SPOT.

BEST NOT LEAVE THE ORANGE OUT OF THE RHYME I CHOOSE FOR THIS.

LILIES AND CALENDULAS CHROCAMOSIS I CARN'T MISS.

ALL ARE VERY EVASIVE PLANTS THEY MULTIPLY SO FAST.

YOU HAVE TO KEEP ON SPLITTING THEM UP WHAT YOU DON'T WANT THEN YOU CAST.

THE RAINBOW HAS SOME BLUE IN IT YES OF COURSE WE KNOW IT HAS.

FORGET -ME -NOTS OF COURSE SUCH TINY PLANTS THAT GROW IN MASS.

MUSCARI THE TINY GRAPE HYACINTH SOON MAKE A SEA OF BLUE.

HERES A PICTURE OF HOW THEY SPREAD I'M ENCLOSING TO SHOW YOU.

HOPE YOUV'E ENJOYED MY RAINBOW OF FLOWERS AND ALL THE PLANTS YOUV'E SEEN.

I'M GOING AWAY ON A MYSTERY WEEKEND TOMORROW SO I'LL TELL YOU WHERE I HAVE BEEN.

WHEN I RETURN IN MY NEXT POSTING I'LL SHOW PICTURES IF IT'S BEEN FINE

SO TA-TA FOR NOW TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES FROM KATH AND

"MY SIMPLE RHYMES".

All the beautiful colors in your garden are a delightful rainbow for sure. How nice to have gerainiums blooming til Christmas. Our winters here are not so mild and everything freezes out by early November. Roses in the back of my house will usually last til then as they are in a sheltered spot. Your mystery weekend sounds like fun. Enjoy! and take pictures for us.
