We set off up route one the North way.
To travel to Redwoods with Son.
The scenery on route was so stunning.
And we laughed all the way we had fun.
Blue lakes and beaches were plenty.
Lush green forests galore.
1,500 miles we went.
In all and I couldn't want more.
Here I am resting a while folks.
On a felled tree from the Redwoods.
Lovely sunshine and wonderful sights oh! Motherhen yes she felt good.
The Chandelier tree was a giant.
Towering up to the sky.
As you can see in the picture.
315feet high.
So the journey to Redwoods was worth it.
I'd go again any day as.
We hadn't enough time to spend there.
More things to see and time passed.
So i'll close for now and tell you more when.

I am happy that you had a great trip to California with your family. I made it to Northern California back in 1971 but did not see the redwoods, only San Francisco, Berkley, and Stockton. mark/salty
I'm late catching up with your blogposts, Kath, but am pleased you had such a great trip.
The photos are beautiful, Kath. They are especially meaningful to me since my father took me there for the first time when I was a kid. It was the last time I remember seeing my father happy.
