I THOUGHT I'D SIT DOWN AWAY FROM THE USUAL AND WRITE A SHORT RHYME TODAY
HOW I HAVE FELT THIS LAST FEW WEEKS OF CHANGES COMING OUR WAY.
FIRST WE HAD LOVELY J/LAND A COMMUNITY PLEASURABLE I LOVED.
AT A TIME WHEN I NEEDED FRIENDSHIP WHICH I THOUGHT HAD BEEN SENT FROM ABOVE.
BUT ALAS IT WASN'T TO BE FRIENDS IT WAS SNATCHED FROM US ALL SO FAST.
SAD AND DOWNHEARTED I SAT MANY DAYS SO LONELY AND FEELING AGHAST.
THEN OUT OF THE BLUE CAME CHANGES MOVED TO BLOGGER SO THRILLED WAS THIS HEN.
BACK IN WITH FRIENDS READING THIER WORDS ENJOYING THERE COMPANY AGEN...(SLANG)
WELL AS TIME PASSED BY I WONDERED WHERE SOME OF MY FIRENDS HAD GONE.
NO DASHBOARD REVEALING THIER POSTINGS AT ALL MANY WERE MISSING NO... NONE.
I HEARD THEY HAD CHANGED TO FACEBOOK YOU'VE ALL HEARD OF FACEBOOK I'M SURE.
DO I GO THERE AND FOLLOW THEM ONCE AGAIN IS BLOGGER CLOSING THIER DOOR.
AT FIRST I DIDN'T HAVE INTEREST IN FACEBOOK BUT BLOGGERS GOT LESS.
YES CHANGES HAD COME ABOUT AGAIN I FELT IT WAS SUCH A MESS.
KEEP LOSING THE SIGHT OF FRIENDS I HAD GAINED WONDERING EACH DAY WERE THEY WELL.
TILL I WOKE UP ONE MORN AND I HEARD A VOICE SAY THERES ONLY ONE WAY YOU CAN TELL.
JOIN FACEBOOK YOURSELF THIS VOICE KEPT SAYING SO I GOOGLED IT FEELING CHEERED.
UP CAME THE FORM I FILLED IN THE INFO AND MY FACEBOOK PAGE APPEARED.
SO CHANGES AGAIN I THOUGHT TO MYSELF STILL KEEPING OLD BLOG FRIENDS IN MIND.
CONTINUEING TO COMMENT IN THOSE FEW REMAINING SUCH LOVELY PEOPLE AND KIND.
WELL I SETTLED DOWN INTO FACEBOOK IV'E BEEN THERE A WHILE NOW AND LIKE.
UNTIL A COUPLE OF WEEKS BACK NOW AND FACEBOOK SAID ON YOUR BIKE.
THERE NOW CHANGING IT TO TIMELINE APPARENTLY SOME LIKE IT SOME DON'T.
I'M STILL UNDECIDED WHAT TO DO ? I DON'T KNOW IF I WILL OR I WON'T.
THE ONLY REASON I THINK I WILL CHANGE AND GO THERE TO JOIN TIMELINE.
IS BECAUSE I SHOULD HATE TO LOSE TRACK AGAIN OF ALL THESE DEAR FRIENDS ONLINE.
I WOULDN'T SAY I AM ADDICTED TO MY COMPUTER LIKE SOME.
BUT I HAVE TO SAY IN ALL HONESTY ON FACEBOOK WE'VE HAD SOME FUN.
SOME OF THESE FRIENDS DON'T HAVE A BLOG SO I'D LOSE THEM WITHOUT A DOUBT.
I DON'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN AT ALL AND THATS WHAT I'M WORRYING ABOUT.
CHANGES COME EASY FOR SOME FOLKS BUT THIS MOTHERHEN AT TIMES.
FEELS LONELY WITHOUT YOU SO TRY TO STAY CLOSE BY.

Don't go, Kath. I've been ranting about the timeline thing this weekend, but at least they're not shutting down FB altogether. We'll just have to get used to it.
Dear Kath its lovely to keep in touch with you ,but just lately you haven't been in the best of health ,hope you are soon well and fit again ..I love your sense of humour .

My dearest Kath, If I had yor wonderful way with words I would have been writing almost the same words...I am real upset about the way Facebook has like AOL just gone over our heads...what could have been wrong in keeping both systems working, any new folks could have the new look and wee oldies could stay as we are..Like you I am going to really be so unhappy at loosing some new made friends...however before i leave I will put up my blog address and if anyone wants to come and comment or even maybe ask questions we will be able to keep in touch that way....anyway fingers crossd we will be around in Facebook for a few more weeks...

Seems no sooner do we settle down and find friends again that they change the page! I shall keep my Facebook open but only post holiday photos on it, I don't see why we should HAVE to get used to it. I'm not one to be pushed around. If I don't lkikrm the site I won't go on it. Jeannette xx

I don't do much with FB at all but you know I'm still blogging. I do hope you keep in touch with us here. I always enjoy your comments but love seeing your entries too. Things are always changing, but once a friend always a friend to me.
We WILL have to get used to it, Kath, uncomfortable as it may be. Keeping in touch with each other is, after all, what matters. Like you, I love being in touch with the former J-Land family, and don't want to lose touch again. I treasure your friendship, love you with all my heart. Hi Kath...I have come to terms with Timeline (just about) the only problem i'm having at the moment is, i can't upload and pics and you know i like my pics...lol I sometimes get fed up with facebook, mainly because i can't keep up with some of peoples post as some are too long for me to read, i seem to have 3 second memory at times (short term memory)so i tend to by pass them....Hoope your feeling much better than you have of late Kath...Big HUGS and xxx Sandra xx

Kath, we've been friends for a good long time now, since the J-Land days, I am like you, I don't like change and I don't adapt to it easily. It always comes hard to me. I would hate to lose touch with all my friends though and so I try to keep up as best as I can. You have had some bad health problems recently. Would get anyone down I think. Thanks for visiting me on my blogger page and a good 2012 to you from me and salty. I am on the computer very little and have only dial-up which is slow. I shall keep you in my thoughts. It is cold here today. My addition project is going along with partial heat this winter until the floor at ground level is finished with plumbing and insulation. It is nice upstairs where all the heat is directed through the opening from my little cabin and woodburner. I must get all new electrical service which my electrician is going to make the switch and I will do some wiring that he will approve. My back medication helps me as the back is stiff and sore. The surgery was a complete success is releiving the lumbar bone growth. Hugs, mark

I had trouble getting into my own journal, plus horrible hectic schedule from a horrible job that I am blessed to say is behind me with an opportunity to find something better!
