"OUR HOLIDAY WAS A WASHOUT"

GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY I'M HERE ONCE MORE AGAIN.

OUR HOLIDAY WAS A WASHOUT AS I HAVE BEEN FULL OF PAIN.

THE WEATHER WAS APPAULING HEAVY STORMS AND SKYS OF GREY.

I ACHED FROM THE MOMENT WE SET OFF AND HAD TO REST EVERY DAY.

I STRUGGLED THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND THEN ON MONDAY I RANG MY DOC.

BACK HOME TO ASK HIM WHAT I SHOULD DO MY NOSE THROAT AND EARS WERE BLOCKED.

THE ONLY ADVISE HE GAVE ME STAY WARM PARACETAMOL AND REST

SO ROOSTER INSISTED WE DO WHAT HE SAID HE THOUGHT IT WAS FOR THE BEST.

WELL TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH MY ROOSTER WANTED TO BRING ME HOME.

BUT I HOPED I'D FEEL MUCH BETTER EACH DAY AND THEN WE COULD GET OUT AND ROAM.

AND VISIT SOME PLACES OF INTEREST BUT ALAS IT JUST WASN'T TO BE.

EACH DAY THE RAIN LASHED DOWN HEAVIER WE'D HAVE NEEDED A BOAT HE-HE.

THE LAWNS ROUND OUR LUXURY CAMPER WERE JUST A DEEP SLUSHY BOG.

IT WASN'T FIT TO GO ANYWHERE NOT EVEN TO WALK YOUR DOG.

THE MORE IT RAINED THE WORSE I FELT EVEN THOUGH TUCKED UP SO WARM.

AND WE COULDN'T GET THE CAMERA TO WORK SO THAT LEFT US FEELING FORLORN.

ROOSTER WENT OUT AND UNKNOWN TO ME HE WENT TO BUY ME ONE NEW.

IT IS STILL IN THE BOX FRIENDS I COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO LEARN THIS I FELT TOO BLUE.

WELL WE BATTED IT OUT UNTIL THURSDAY LUNCH THEN A CALL CAME ALONG TO US.

ROOSTERS FATHER WAS ILL IN HOSPITAL PNEUMONIA BUT DON'T YOU FUSS.

WE WERE TOLD ON THE PHONE HE WOULD BE OK BUT WE DECIDED TO PACK.

SO WE LEFT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND WASN'T I GLAD WE WERE BACK.

THERES NO PLACE LIKE HOME WHEN YOUR SICK FRIENDS AND I'M STILL NOT 100%.

BUT IT WAS A CHANGE OF SCENERY THE FEW DAYS THERE WE HAD SPENT.

ROOSTERS FATHER IS HOME NOW BUT AT 79 STILL FEELS SO WEAK.

WHATS NEW FOR MOTHERHEN I KEEP SAYING WHY IS MY NEWS ALWAYS BLEAK.

I HAVE BEEN IN BED SINCE I CAME HOME JUST THE ODD SHORT SPELL TO GET UP.

TO TAKE MY MEDICATION AND MAKE A DRINK IN MY MOTHERHEN CUP.

THE COUGH I HAVE IS CONTINUOUS AND IS DRIVING ME UP THE WALL.

PASSING THE TIME BY WRITING THIS POST DOWN AND HOPING SOON RID OF IT ALL.

I HAVE FELT A LITTLE BETTER TONIGHT SO IV'E READ A COUPLE OF POSTS.

AND NOTICED ANGIE HAD WROTE ABOUT BOSTON SO TO HER I WOULD LIKE TO TOAST.

SHE'S TOLD ALL ABOUT BOSTONAND PICTURES TOO WHERE I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO.

"CAN YOU HEAR ME AT THE BACK " HER BLOGS CALLED IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW.

SO THANKYOU ANGIE YOUV'E SAVED MY BACON YOU DID THIS RIGHT ON TRACK..

MADE UP FOR ME MISSING OUT ON BOSTON AND THE INFO MY POSTING DOES LACK.

SO FOR NOW I WILL HAVE TO LEAVE YOU AGAIN I FEEL WORN OUT DOING THIS.

I''LL SAY ONCE MORE I AM SORRY BUT THE WAY I FEEL MY BED IS BLISS.

SO TAKE GOOD CARE AND MAY I SAY I HOPE YOU HAVE HAD SOME SUNSHINE.

COUGH COUGH SPLUTTER HOPE TO BE BACK SOON FROM KATH AND "MY SIMPLE RHYMES."

Kath love, I was so sorry you had such a pig of a time. We had a glorious day weatherwise but obviously in one day you can't fit much in. I was relying on you to fill us in!

Anyway, I do hope you're feeling better by now. Are you still at the seaside or at home?

I do hope you are feeling better real soon and that some wonderful sunshine comes your way. It's been the same here with lots of rain. I know my sinus are very stuffed up but haven't got sick from it. It would feel so great to have some sun and for things to dry out a little. Everything is soggy here. I hope Roosters Dad is ok too. Take care and get well!

Awwww Kath! What a real shame you didn't get a decent holiday! Bah! To bugs and such like.
Your luxury caravan looked lovely too. Very comfortable and clean.
Well done to Rooster for buying you a new camera. Hope you work its 'innards' out soon. I've got a new one and it is taking some getting used to.
I hope you get back on your feet soon and that Roosters Dad fights off the last of his tiredness and illness too.
Take care of yourself.((((Hugs))))

Poor dear Kath. What a disappointment. The caravan looks very cosy, but no comfort when you're supposed to be enjoying yourself.
Hope you will pick up in this fine weather - is it where you are? My family are heading for Runswick Bay this w/e!
Lots of love

What a shame, Kath, not only a wash-out in terms of weather, but also in terms of your health. Get well soon!
